Have you ever noticed how much heating a room costs? Well, it's a lot of money just for heating, especially in the winter. And the sources of the highest demand like, natural gas, heating oil, etc. are nonrenewable things. And electricity isn't used that much as it's sometimes unreliable. It also helps with air pollution as the power plants producing CO2, wouldn't be used as much, for heating at least.
The way this invention works is the cans sprayed with BBQ paint collect heat energy from the sun, since BBQ paint is black. Then the heat flows through the cans and into insulating tubes leading into the room to heat it. All of this is housed inside of a wooden case with Plexiglas on the top to let sunlight in but keep the elements out.
